Our Cottages at Brushy Creek are a state of the art set of twelve cottages with twelve residents in each cottage. We exemplify the Eden concept and are a Studer organization with a focus on service excellence. The Director of Nursing is responsible for the management of nursing and other patient care services within the Long Term Care and Sub-Acute Care Setting certified for 144 bed occupancy. Accountable for delivery of nursing services consistent with Federal and State Codes and GHS standards; customer satisfaction (Elder/Guest families, physicians, and employees) and financial results within areas of responsibility. Responsible for maintaining proper records for MDS assessments per CMS guidelines to assure high quality outcomes management. Works collaboratively with all GHS clinical services to ensure facillity's involvment and compliance with system-wide clinical practices and education to ensure the best possible outcomes for Guest/Elder care.  Represents nursing to the medical staff and in policy making for the facility. Assures the recruitment, retention, training, competency of nursing staff and continuing education of all staff. May be designated to act in the absence of the Licensed Administrator.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with three (3) years progressive nursing management or LTC Management experience required, with at least 2 years in a manager role preferred. LTC, rehab or medical/surgical experience preferred.
